Newcastle to up bid for Swansea's Taylor and consider swoop for United's Gibson

Newcastle are ready to increase their bid for Swansea left back Neil Taylor after their initial offer was rejected.
Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins said: 'Neil has an important role to play at this club.'
Newcastle are considering a rival £5m bid for Manchester United’s Darron Gibson, a top target for Sunderland.
Double deal? Taylor's move has hit a snag, but Newcastle could also be interested in a move for Gibson
