Young at the heart of Nani's problem as Villa man's arrival could force winger out
Ashley Young's imminent move to Manchester United has increased the uncertainty over Nani’s future at Old Trafford.
The Portugal winger has fallen behind Antonio Valencia in the pecking order since the Ecuadorian returned from injury in March, and was left on the bench for last month’s Champions League final against Barcelona.
Young at the heart of Nani's problem: Ashley's arrival could force Nani out
With England winger Young arriving from Aston Villa for £15million, Park Ji-sung set to sign a contract extension this summer and United linked with Samir Nasri and Alexis Sanchez, Sir Alex Ferguson may be tempted to offload a player who has struggled to hit consistent form since arriving from Sporting Lisbon for £17m four years ago.
Juventus enquired about Nani last month but were put off by United’s valuation, while there is talk that Real Madrid may reunite the 24-year-old with his compatriot Cristiano Ronaldo.
Inter Milan also remain interested and United could use him as part of any offer for Wesley Sneijder.
