Hair we go! Rooney reveals new mop of hair following surgery to cure baldness
Wayne Rooney has finally revealed a picture of his new head of hair following surgery at a top Harley Street clinic to cure his baldness.
The Manchester United striker, dismayed at thinning out so young, decided to go under the knife and has now revealed the first image of his new barnet.
Rooney revealed the bald truth behind his decision on the micro-blogging site Twitter last week: 'I was going bald at 25, why not. I'm delighted with the result.'

And he has expressed his delight the the results to his 784,000 followers: 'Hi all there's my head. It will take a few months to grow. Still a bit bloody to. But that's all normal.'
Rooney joins other sporting luminaries such as Michael Vaughan, Graham Gooch, Austin Healey and Shane Warne to have had corrective surgery on their bald pates.
And he's sure to receive a lively welcome from his team-mates when he returns to training with United later in the summer.

Rio Ferdinand took to twitter to show his 'support,' saying: 'Just don't go down the wearing a alice band route!! You'll be doing head&shoulders adverts soon! Hope its gone ok Good luck lad.'
But wife Colleen showed some support and even denied rumours that he had the surgery to please her.
She tweeted: 'Hiya!! Yes waynes had his hair done! His own decision not me asking him, like a lot are saying!! Pleased for him and it will look great x'.'
