Poyet: United could lose Chicharito if Real Madrid come calling

Manchester United face losing last season's revelation Javier Hernandez to Real Madrid, according to Gus Poyet.

The Spaniards have been linked with the striker, and former Chelsea and Spurs star Poyet, currently covering the Copa America as a pundit, can foresee the Mexican ending up at the Bernabeu, despite the prospect of a new contract at Old Trafford.

'I respect United,' said the Brighton manager, 'but there are much bigger teams, including Real Madrid.

'Due to their history they are bigger than United. I don't think it would be a surprise for Chicharito to go to Real.'
