Sir Alex Ferguson was in the Old Trafford stands to witness Manchester United's 2011 juniors follow the steps first trodden by Busby's Babes as they won the FA Youth Cup.
Two goals each from 18-year-olds Ravel Morrison and Will Keane secured a record 10th victory in the competition for United.

It seemed apt that, with Sir Bobby Charlton looking on, coach Paul McGuinness's Under 18s triumphed one day after Ferguson's senior team had celebrated a record 19th league title.

A Joe Ironside strike 17 minutes from time gave John Pemberton's Sheffield United some reward, but it was Morrison who proved the difference.

The player has had a troubled year off the field and last week found himself criticised on Twitter for disparaging remarks about United's player-of-the-year awards. But he showed why he is so highly rated by Ferguson, 57 years after the young Charlton helped win the juniors' second title.
